Tauranga Park was built in 2002 to provide the region with a spacious, modern funeral home in park-like surrounds, giving an indoor/outdoor atmosphere to a funeral service.

Tasteful décor is a hallmark of the venue with its waterfall backdrop, magnificent timber ceiling and upholstered dark oak pews. Graceful trees and a panoramic view of the Kaimais contribute to the park-like feel, with a landscaped gardens adding to the serene surroundings.

Accommodating up to several hundred people with ease, the venue still lends itself well to smaller funerals. Year-round comfort is assured with an inbuilt air conditioning system and a new state of the art sound system.
A separate reception lounge, on-site kitchen and courtyard area are available and there is onsite parking for 150 vehicles with level access to the complex.
 
Tauranga Park is only 100 metres from the Pyes Pa Cemetery and Crematorium.
